Round the city
You can find an information circuit with interesting points from the history of Paskov at ten stops in the city and two more in the nearby area.
You can start at the Paskov square. Information boards will guide you not only through the streets of the city and the castle park, but they will also introduce you to the history of Paskov, its education, associations, ponds, church, rectory, castle and the then manorial economic zone.
Řepiště – The wooden church of St. Michael the Archangel
In the neighboring village of Řepiště, approximately 2.5 km to the east, you will find a beautiful wooden church named after St. Michael the Archangel. This one-nave branch church is listed on the list of cultural monuments and belongs to one of the most valuable and oldest in the group of Silesian wooden churches.
Staříč – Observation tower Okrouhlá and the educational trail Staříč-Okrouhlá
A transmitter is built on Okrouhlá hill at a height of 378 m above sea level, which serves as an observation tower. The mast is 55 m high, the tourist lookout (observation platform) is located at a height of 30 m and there is a wonderful view of the surroundings from here. In case of good weather, you can see, for example, the Jeseníky Mountains, Javorový hill and other Beskydy peaks. In connection with the observation tower, a tourist trail was built here, which has a total of 10 stops with information on local attractions.
